Emergencies

If it's an emergency.

Always call the practice first. The same number works during opening hours and out of hours.

Call us now

028 8224 3909

During opening hours you'll come straight through to reception. Out of hours, you'll be redirected via voicemail to the practice covering the OOH rota.

If you're not sure, call us. We'd always rather you ring and be reassured.

Common reasons to call straight away include difficulty breathing, suspected poisoning, trauma, suspected bloat, an inability to urinate (especially in male cats), collapse, seizure, ongoing vomiting or diarrhoea, bleeding that doesn't stop, or significant pain or distress.

Out-of-hours emergency care is provided by a rota of local practices. Call our usual number and the voicemail will direct you. Bring any current medications and the packaging of anything your pet may have eaten.
